Renowned gaming device maker has ventured into the laptop business with release what it claims to be the world’s first true gaming laptop, the Razer Blade.
Despite its relative high price at USD2,799.00 (approximately RM8,400.00), the first batch of Razer Blade was sold out, according to Razer and the next wave of stocks will be available some time this month.
The Razer Blade is powered by an Intel Core i7 2640M 2.8GHz processor, 8GB of RAM, Nvidia GeForce GT555M graphics with 2GB of dedicated video memory, 256GB Solid State Drive, and a host of other standard PC specifications.
According to Razer, the most significant feature of the Razer Blade is its Switchblade User Interface – Razer’s multi-award winning, highly intuitive interface technology. The interface is designed with 10 dynamic adaptive tactile keys for easier access of in-game commands, and an LCD capable of two modes; one mode that displays in-game information when a mouse is in use; and another mode that functions as an ultra-sensitive, multi-touch track-panel designed solely for the best mobile gaming experience.
The Razer Blade have yet to hit Malaysian shores but from the continuous demand from consumers, this lappy is indicates to the fact that gamers are very eager to move the gaming platform to portable devices and the trendinf shift away from bulky CPU units built into big ATX cases are fast becoming irrelevant.
